About the Role
Wooderful Life Cafe is currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Gewan Island, Qatar. If you have a love for crafting exceptional coffee and delivering outstanding guest experiences, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments according to established recipes and standards.
- Deliver warm, friendly, and efficient customer service to every guest, ensuring a welcoming cafe atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and dining areas at all times.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment properly.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations consistently.
- Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional guest experience.
- Stay informed about menu offerings, seasonal specials, and new products to make informed recommendations to customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar food and beverage role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso preparation, and latte art is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg as needed.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn new skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certification or training in food safety or barista skills.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage in our diverse customer environment.
- Creative flair for beverage presentation and menu innovation.
