About the Role
CEVA Logistics, a world leader in global supply chain solutions, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its team in Morocco. In this role, you will oversee all accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and play a pivotal part in driving the financial health of the organization within the Moroccan market.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full scope of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and IFRS standards.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Moroccan tax legislation, statutory requirements, and CEVA Group financial policies.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Liaise with cross-functional departments, regional finance teams, and senior leadership to align financial reporting with business objectives.
- Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and treasury operations for the Moroccan entity.
- Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven track record of managing month-end and year-end close processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English and French is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- Experience working within a multinational or matrix organizational structure.
- Familiarity with consolidation processes and multi-currency environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with process automation and digital finance tools.
- Change management skills and the ability to lead transformation initiatives.
