About the Role
We are hiring a Logistics Program / Project Management Specialist to lead projects that keep our supply chain running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee logistics programs and projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs across the logistics network.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and service level compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports on logistics performance, budget adherence, and project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, sales, and customer service to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to maintain operational continuity.
- Lead fleet management operations, route optimization, and shipment scheduling to maximize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis and industry best practices in logistics and project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management, project management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems, and project management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Outstanding organizational and multitual-tasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in inventory management, demand forecasting, and distribution planning.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Professional certification such as CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or CILT.
- Experience with international shipping, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
- Familiarity with lean supply chain methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Egyptian transportation regulations and logistics infrastructure.
- Experience in fleet management and last-mile delivery optimization.
