We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Executive Housekeeper in delivering exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence across all hotel areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a diverse team of room attendants, supervisors, and laundry staff.
- Ensure compliance with Accor and Sofitel brand standards, hygiene protocols, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee impeccable presentation and quality assurance.
- Manage inventory, linen control, and supply ordering to optimize cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B departments for seamless guest experiences.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, maintaining high satisfaction scores.
- Prepare schedules, rosters, and labor forecasts aligned with occupancy levels.
- Implement sustainability initiatives and green cleaning practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Proven track record in housekeeping management, team leadership, and quality control.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and textile care.
- Proficiency in hotel PMS (Opera preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
