We are seeking an intellectually curious and technically skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our Factories department in Cairo, Egypt. This role requires strong business acumen and deep expertise in Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Optimize data models, DAX queries, and report performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and visualization.
- Manage the full lifecycle of BI reporting, from data extraction and transformation to deployment and user training.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting assets.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in BI development and data governance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of complex reports and dashboards.
- Expert-level knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Services or similar cloud platforms.
- Background in manufacturing or factory environments is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
