About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Chargé de Communication to drive our corporate communication strategy and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels. This role sits at the intersection of strategic planning, content creation, and media relations, offering the opportunity to shape the narrative of a growing organization in Algeria. The ideal candidate will combine analytical thinking with creative storytelling to deliver impactful communication campaigns that align with business objectives.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's global communication strategy in alignment with organizational goals
• Define key communication axes, messaging frameworks, and brand positioning guidelines
• Manage internal and external communication channels including website, social media, newsletters, and press relations
• Create high-quality content (articles, press releases, presentations, videos) for diverse audiences
• Monitor media coverage, analyze communication KPIs, and report on campaign effectiveness
• Coordinate events, conferences, and corporate gatherings to strengthen stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, HR, Leadership) to ensure consistent messaging
• Identify communication gaps and propose corrective actions to improve outreach and reputation
• Manage crisis communication protocols and act as spokesperson when required
• Oversee relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and media partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
• Proven experience (3+ years) in corporate communication, agency, or media environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and Arabic; English is a strong asset
• Strong command of digital communication tools (CMS, social media management, analytics platforms)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
• Solid understanding of Algerian media landscape and cultural nuances
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management

Preferred Skills

• Background in video editing, graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite), or multimedia production
• Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and content marketing
• Familiarity with internal communication platforms and employee engagement initiatives
• Previous work in regulated industries or multinational environments
• Certification in Public Relations (APR) or Digital Marketing
