About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Comptable Fournisseurs to join our finance team in Tangier. This interim position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in supplier accounting, invoice processing, and vendor reconciliation. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments to suppliers.

Core Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including wire transfers and checks.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor files and manage communication with suppliers regarding payment status.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Generate reports on outstanding liabilities and payment aging.
• Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure proper documentation for purchases.

Required Qualifications

• Bac+2 to Bac+3 degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Comptable Fournisseurs or in a similar accounts payable role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and supplier reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with Moroccan tax regulations and VAT treatment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in French and Arabic.
