Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our hospitality team at Rixos Premium Seagate in Sharm El Sheikh. The ideal candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Assign duties, schedules, and work areas to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Inspect rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness and quality standards
- Manage housekeeping inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance departments to address guest needs and room readiness
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members on cleaning techniques and service standards
- Monitor and maintain health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all housekeeping areas
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally
- Prepare daily reports on room status, staff performance, and operational issues
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for housekeeping activities
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping coordination or supervisory role within a luxury hotel or resort
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Experience working in 5-star or luxury resort environments
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping software
- Certification in health and safety or hospitality training
