Role Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and disciplined Security Monitor to serve as an OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) responsible for overseeing un-cleared personnel within controlled areas. This position plays a critical role in maintaining facility security, enforcing access control protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for Local National (LN) and Other Country National (OCN) contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort and continuously monitor un-cleared LN/OCN personnel while they perform work duties within restricted or sensitive areas.
- Maintain accurate logs for all contractor personnel, including sign-in/sign-out times, work locations, and duration of access.
- Conduct headcounts and verify personnel accountability at regular intervals and during shift transitions.
- Enforce security policies, access control procedures, and site-specific safety regulations for all escorted individuals.
- Report any security violations, suspicious activities, or protocol breaches immediately to the security supervisor.
- Coordinate with facility security teams and project managers to schedule and manage contractor access requirements.
- Inspect work areas before and after contractor activities to ensure no unauthorized items or materials remain.
- Maintain clear communication with escorted personnel to ensure understanding of movement restrictions and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in security operations, access control, or personnel monitoring roles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances for the facility.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail for effective monitoring and logging.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during shifts.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Clean background check and ability to pass drug screening.
