About the Role

H.B. Fuller, the world's largest pureplay adhesives company, is seeking a Buyer Specialist to join its procurement team in Egypt. In this role, you will manage sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchasing activities to support the company's manufacturing and supply chain operations across the region. This position is critical to ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality material procurement for adhesive and sealant production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and supply reliability.
• Monitor market trends and commodity prices to inform purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, quality) to align procurement with operational needs.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and local regulations.
• Prepare reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement or buying, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the adhesives, coatings, or chemical sector.
• Knowledge of international sourcing and logistics.
• Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
• Familiarity with Egyptian market dynamics and supplier base.
