Role Overview

Société Générale Algérie, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Société Générale Group and one of the first private banks established in Algeria since 2000, is seeking a Senior Agile Master to drive agile transformation across technology and business teams. This role focuses on scaling agile practices, coaching squads, and ensuring delivery excellence in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead agile adoption for multiple cross-functional squads using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
• Coach product owners, developers, and stakeholders on agile principles, ceremonies, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate PI planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and escalate risks to ensure predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with IT governance, compliance, and security teams to align agile processes with banking regulations.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and agile coaches, fostering a culture of servant leadership.
• Define and track agile metrics (velocity, lead time, cycle time, predictability) to optimize flow.
• Drive organizational change management for agile transformation initiatives.

Requirements

Hard Skills

• 5+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Master in large-scale financial services or banking.
• Deep expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus frameworks.
• Certified SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), PSM II/III, or equivalent advanced agile certification.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native delivery pipelines.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools.
• Understanding of banking domains: payments, core banking, risk, compliance, or digital channels.
• Fluent in French and English; Arabic a plus.
