About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de département Contrôle Qualité to lead our quality assurance operations in Béjaïa, Algeria. The ideal candidate will bring 10 to 15 years of proven expertise in the field, driving excellence and continuous improvement across all processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and implement the quality policy and objectives aligned with company strategy.
• Supervise and coordinate the quality control team, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Develop and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.).
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and initiate corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure product conformity.
• Prepare and present quality reports to top management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in quality control within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, etc.).
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in French; Arabic and English are a plus.
• Experience in the Algerian or North African market is highly valued.

Preferred Skills

• Certification as a Quality Manager, Lead Auditor, or similar.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality data analysis software.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., food, pharma, automotive).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience.
