Who We're Looking For

You don't just schedule activities — you architect certainty. You're the QS Planning Engineer who reads a set of drawings and instantly sees the sequence, the risk, the float, and the commercial implication. You build method statements that site teams actually follow because they're practical, not theoretical. You own the work program not as a document, but as the project's nervous system. When the Construction Manager asks "what's driving the critical path?", you answer with precision, not guesswork.

What You'll Own

• Develop and maintain the master project work program from mobilization through handover, integrating design, procurement, and construction sequences
• Prepare detailed method statements for key construction activities that align with specifications, safety standards, and commercial targets
• Monitor and report on program performance — planned vs. actual — with variance analysis that drives corrective action, not just documentation
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to optimize resource loading, identify float consumption early, and mitigate delay risks
• Quantify and schedule provisional sums, variations, and extension-of-time events with contractual rigor
• Interface with quantity surveying functions to align cash flow forecasts with physical progress milestones

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer on major construction or infrastructure projects in the GCC
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (or MS Project) — you build logic-driven schedules, not bar charts
• Strong grasp of construction methodology across civil, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Ability to translate contractual requirements (FIDIC, local forms) into program logic and delay analysis
• Commercial awareness: you understand how schedule drives cost, claims, and client satisfaction
• Fluent English; Arabic a distinct advantage for site coordination
