About the Role

SDC is seeking a dedicated Health Services Coordinator to join its Aswan Area Office in Egypt. This role, classified under Programme Operations, is responsible for coordinating health service delivery within the Operation Program framework. As a Health Services Coordinator (also referred to as Health Program Coordinator or Healthcare Services Coordinator), you will work closely with field teams to ensure effective implementation of health initiatives in Aswan. The position is graded at Level 5 and offers a contract extending until the end of the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate health service activities across the Aswan area office in alignment with program objectives.
• Liaise with local health authorities and community partners to facilitate service delivery.
• Monitor and report on health program progress, ensuring compliance with SDC standards.
• Support operational planning and logistics for health interventions.
• Assist in training and capacity building of field staff on health protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for program reporting.
• Contribute to the development of health program strategies and work plans.
• Facilitate field visits to monitor health service quality and provide on-site support.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in health program coordination or a related field within development contexts.
• Strong understanding of program operations, service delivery coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under field conditions in Aswan.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (preferred).
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel within the Aswan area as needed.
• Relevant educational background in public health, nursing, or a related discipline.

Compensation & Contract
