Role Summary
Capgemini, a global leader in technology transformation, is seeking a Data Center Networking Senior Consultant to join its team in Egypt. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge data center networking solutions for enterprise clients. You will leverage deep expertise in network architecture, cloud integration, and automation to drive business agility and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable data center network infrastructures including spine-leaf topologies, SDN, and network virtualization.
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to modern software-defined networking (SDN) and cloud-based networks.
- Conduct network assessments, performance tuning, and capacity planning for high-availability environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network security, load balancing, and WAN optimization solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and client teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and best practice guides.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center networking, with at least 2 years in a senior consulting or architect role.
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or Juniper Contrail.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and MPLS.
- Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or VCDX are highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven ability to design high-performance, resilient network architectures for enterprise data centers.
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
