About the Job

Airswift, a leading global manpower provider specializing in the Energy, Infrastructure, and IT sectors, is seeking a skilled Technical Writer for a role based in Qatar. This position involves creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for complex technical systems, supporting projects across multiple industries. As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to produce user manuals, API documentation, SDK guides, and other technical content that meets international standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including user guides, installation manuals, and online help systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language for diverse audiences.
• Review and edit documents for consistency, grammar, and adherence to style guides.
• Manage documentation repositories and version control using content management systems.
• Create and update templates, standards, and best practices for technical writing.
• Support the development of training materials and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or Technical Content Writer in the energy, infrastructure, or IT sectors.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.
• Strong understanding of API documentation and SDK guides.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
