About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cosmetics Sales Agent to join our dynamic commercial team specializing in the beauty and cosmetics sector. This position requires a proven track record of 3 to 5 years in direct sales, account management, or business development within the cosmetics, skincare, or personal care industry. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build lasting relationships with key clients including distributors, retailers, pharmacies, and beauty salons.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets across assigned territories
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new B2B clients including pharmacies, perfumeries, beauty institutes, and concept stores
- Manage and grow existing key accounts through regular visits, product training, merchandising support, and promotional planning
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to healthcare professionals, beauty advisors, and retail staff
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide actionable insights to marketing and product teams
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and KPI dashboards using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory optimization
- Organize and participate in trade shows, product launches, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing agreements, and annual contracts in alignment with company margins and policies
- Provide field feedback on product performance, packaging, and pricing to support new product development
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience in the cosmetics, dermo-cosmetics, fragrance, or professional beauty industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong existing network of contacts within pharmacy channels, selective perfumery, spa/salon distribution, or modern trade
- Fluent in French and Arabic; English proficiency is a strong advantage
- Valid driver's license with willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions (Algiers and surrounding wilayas)
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), and digital reporting tools
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage territory like a business unit, and make data-driven decisions
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dermo-cosmetic brands, pharmacy sell-in/sell-out mechanics, or professional salon channels
- Knowledge of Algerian regulatory environment for cosmetic product registration and compliance
- Background in trade marketing, visual merchandising, or category management
- Multilingual: French, Arabic, and English (written and verbal)
- Certification in professional selling methodologies (SPIN, Challenger Sale, MEDDIC, etc.)
