About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead and oversee the organization's information systems security strategy. This role demands a seasoned professional with deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will drive security governance, ensure regulatory adherence, and strengthen the overall security posture across all information assets.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning to protect critical systems and data.
- Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with ISO 27001 and other relevant frameworks.
- Manage security awareness training programs and promote a culture of security across the organization.
- Oversee security monitoring, SIEM optimization, and threat intelligence integration.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, and third-party vendors to ensure continuous compliance and remediation of findings.
- Direct the selection, deployment, and management of security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption solutions).
- Prepare and present security metrics, dashboards, and executive reports to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in an Information Security Manager or similar leadership role.
- Professional certifications: CompTIA Security+ and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are mandatory.
- Proven track record in designing and managing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (ISO 27005, NIST RMF, FAIR).
- Hands-on experience with security technologies: SIEM, DLP, IAM, vulnerability scanners, and cloud security controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact for executive audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP.
- Experience with GDPR, PCI-DSS, or other regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Background in secure software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) and application security.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Incident response handling and digital forensics capabilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
