General Practitioner – MEM

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Practitioner to join our Medical Emergency Management (MEM) team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality acute and emergency care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric. You will serve as a first responder for incoming emergencies, ensuring efficient triage, resuscitation, stabilization, and management of critically ill or injured patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary first responder for all emergency cases, providing immediate medical attention.
• Perform rapid triage to prioritize patient care based on the severity of their condition.
• Lead resuscitation efforts and stabilize patients in life-threatening situations.
• Manage a wide spectrum of acute medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and infectious diseases.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and emergency medical services to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients treated.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a General Practitioner in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in emergency medicine, acute care, or a related field.
• Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Desired Experience

Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or hospital-based acute care settings. Experience in triage and trauma management is highly valued.

Work Environment

This position is based in a dynamic medical facility located in Amman, catering to a diverse patient population. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, to ensure 24/7 emergency coverage.
