About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our information systems, monitoring security events, and responding to incidents as part of our Security Operations Center (SOC). Your expertise will help protect sensitive data and maintain the integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) to detect potential threats.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans.
• Manage and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and playbooks.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems and applications.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
• Provide security awareness training to staff.

Requirements

Essential:

• Native Arabic speaker (spoken and written).
• 5+ years of experience in IT Security, with specific experience in SOC Operations.
• Deep understanding of network security, endpoint security, and incident response.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and security analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Preferred:

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
• Experience in the Bahrain or Gulf region market.
