About the Role

Association Formes et Couleurs Oasiennes (AFCO) is seeking a qualified and motivated Formateur(trice) to lead a training cycle as part of the 'Oasis Waste Medi' project. This role focuses on capacity building, community engagement, and environmental awareness within the Gabès region of Tunisia.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions tailored to project objectives and participant needs.
• Facilitate workshops on waste management, environmental sustainability, and community development.
• Develop training materials and assessment tools to measure learning outcomes.
• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to align training content with overall project goals.
• Prepare reports on training activities, attendance, and results.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a trainer, facilitator, or educator in community development, environmental studies, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and French.
• Ability to adapt training methods to diverse adult learner groups.
• Previous work with NGOs or associative structures in Tunisia is a strong asset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in project-based training cycles, preferably environmental or social projects.
• Familiarity with the Gabès region and its socio-economic context.
• Competence in monitoring and evaluation of training programs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
