About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team in Doha, Qatar, specializing in the Oil & Gas sector. This role focuses on developing and expanding the customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key accounts within the energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors, with strong technical understanding and commercial acumen.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the Oil & Gas market
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at major oil companies, EPC contractors, and service providers
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and growth areas
- Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations tailored to client requirements
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement in alignment with company margins and policies
- Collaborate with technical, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless solution delivery
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Attend industry exhibitions, conferences (e.g., ADIPEC, Qatar Energy events), and networking forums
- Provide regular sales reports, KPI dashboards, and market intelligence to senior management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience specifically in the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the GCC market, preferably Qatar
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas value chain: exploration, production, refining, and distribution
- Experience selling technical products/services: equipment, chemicals, inspection, maintenance, or engineering services
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
- Valid Qatari driving license and ability to travel within Qatar and GCC as required
Preferred Skills
- Existing network with QatarEnergy, Qatargas, Shell, TotalEnergies, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, or major EPC firms
- Experience with tendering processes (pre-qualification, ITT, bid management) in Qatar
- Technical background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering
- Familiarity with Qatar's Local Content / ICV (In-Country Value) requirements
- Certification in Strategic Account Management, SPIN Selling, or Challenger Sales methodology
- Proficiency in Arabic for client-facing meetings and documentation
