A leading company in the travel and tourism sector in Kuwait, with a proven track record in organizing trips, flight bookings, and integrated tourism services, is seeking outstanding talent to join its team at its head office for the following positions:
First: Tourism Company Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Full supervision of the company's daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Setting general strategies for business development and increasing market share.
- Managing work teams (reservations, sales, customer service, accounts) and motivating them to achieve goals.
- Building strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and local and international tourism service providers.
- Monitoring financial performance and preparing estimated budgets and annual growth plans.
- Ensuring compliance with Kuwaiti laws and regulations governing the travel and tourism sector.
- Analyzing local and regional markets and presenting periodic reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- No less than 15 years of experience in managing tourism and travel companies, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of global reservation systems (Amadeus/Galileo) and travel agency management systems.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills in both Arabic and English (speaking and writing).
- In-depth knowledge of the Kuwaiti tourism market and effective professional relationships with suppliers.
Second: Executive Secretary
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing the General Manager’s office, organizing appointments, meetings, and agendas.
- Receiving important calls and correspondence, summarizing them, and handling them with complete confidentiality.
- Preparing official correspondence, internal memos, and administrative reports in both Arabic and English.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel for management, hotel bookings, and flight tickets.
- Saving and archiving important files and documents both electronically and physically.
- Supervising the preparation of meeting rooms and receiving VIP visitors and clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Office Management, Executive Secretarial studies, or equivalent.
- No less than 5 years of practical experience in executive secretarial work, preferably in the tourism or services sector.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and multitasking.
- Polished communication skills, professional appearance, and full commitment to work ethics and confidentiality.
- Full fluency in both Arabic and English (writing and speaking).
Third: Accountant
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing all daily accounting operations (journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable).
- Following up on client and supplier financial receivables and periodic bank reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly payroll and salary statements in accordance with Kuwaiti labor law.
- Preparing periodic financial reports (trial balance, income statement, cash flow statements).
- Following up on tax obligations and relevant government filings where applicable.
- Working on specialized accounting software and accurately entering booking data and financial transactions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA certification is an added advantage).
- No less than 3 years of accounting experience, including at least one year in the tourism sector or travel agencies.
- Proficiency in using accounting software ( or ERP systems), and advanced Excel programs.
- Good understanding of financial and labor regulations in the State of Kuwait.
- High accuracy, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (financial terminology).
