Description:
We are hiring a Project Engineer for a new farm development project. This is a full-time, site-based role managing construction from start to completion.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer looking to gain full project ownership and grow into a larger role.
Scope of Work:
• Fencing and access works
• Labor accommodation and facilities
• Utilities (sewage, septic, electrical)
• Irrigation systems and trenching
• Reservoir construction
• Farm buildings (office, packing, cold storage)
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage site execution and supervise contractors and workers
• Plan works, prepare BOQs, and manage schedules
• Handle procurement, RFQs, and supplier coordination
• Control costs and track project budget
• Ensure quality, safety, and proper completion of works
• Report progress and resolve site issues
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in construction and site supervision
• Good understanding of BOQ, costing, and contractor management
• Ability to manage multiple activities on-site
Preferred:
• Experience in farm, infrastructure, or industrial projects
• Experience in irrigation or reservoir works
• Currently based in Oman
Salary & Benefits:
• Salary: 300 OMR/month
