Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Lead to drive the strategic management of procurement operations, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and sourcing activities. Based in Algeria, this role is critical to optimizing supply chain performance, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining strong vendor partnerships across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, tendering, and contract management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure service quality and cost optimization
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable outcomes for the organization
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to continuously improve procurement operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and legal to ensure compliance and alignment
- Prepare and present procurement reports, spend analyses, and performance metrics to senior management
- Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and diversification strategies
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management role
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and supplier management frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-value contracts and manage complex vendor relationships
- Analytical mindset with strong skills in cost analysis, budget management, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
