About the Role
La Société de Nutrition Animale SNA, based in the Sidi El Heni industrial zone, is looking to strengthen its workforce by hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability and performance of the company's industrial production equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical installations within the production plant, ensuring continuous operations in compliance with current safety and quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure the proper operation of electrical panels, wiring, motors, and automation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to prevent potential failures.
- Collaborate with the production team to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and electrical failures on the production floor.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for electrical systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial automation, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in electrical maintenance.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools and instruments.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in urgent situations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor control systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Experience in the food processing, animal nutrition, or similar industrial sector.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with different departments.
- Proficiency in French and/or English in addition to Arabic is a plus.
