Job Overview

Allianz is seeking a skilled Transactional Accounting - Banking Process Developer to join our dynamic finance team. This role combines expertise in transactional accounting with process development for banking operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize transactional accounting processes for banking operations
• Automate reconciliation, settlement, and reporting workflows using financial systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyze transactional data for accuracy and anomaly detection
• Develop and maintain documentation for accounting policies and procedures
• Support month-end and year-end close activities for banking transactions
• Liaise with internal audit and external auditors on process-related matters

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
• 3+ years of experience in transactional accounting within banking or financial services
• Strong knowledge of banking products, payment systems, and settlement processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel
• Experience with process automation tools (RPA, SQL, Python) is a plus
• Solid understanding of IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and relevant accounting standards
