About the Role
La Cigale Hotel, managed by Accor, is seeking a professional Spa Therapist to join our prestigious five-star luxury hotel located in the dynamic center of Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our wellness team, you will deliver exceptional spa treatments and therapies to discerning guests, ensuring a world-class relaxation experience that aligns with Accor's global standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of spa treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, and hydrotherapy sessions
- Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess needs, preferences, and any contraindications
- Customize treatment plans based on individual guest requirements and wellness goals
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards across all treatment rooms and wet areas
- Ensure proper setup, preparation, and breakdown of treatment rooms before and after each session
- Recommend retail products and follow-up treatments to enhance guest experience and drive revenue
- Adhere to all Accor brand standards, SOPs, and health & safety regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to refine technical skills
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize therapist utilization
- Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns to Spa Management when needed
Requirements
- Recognized certification in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or Spa Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury 5-star hotel or high-end spa environment
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Thai)
- Strong knowledge of facial treatments, body treatments, and spa rituals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a distinct advantage
- Professional grooming and presentation standards befitting a luxury hotel
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Valid Qatar work permit or eligibility to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications
- International spa certifications (CIDESCO, ITEC, CIBTAC, or equivalent)
- Experience with luxury spa brands (ESP, Six Senses, Willow Stream, etc.)
- Knowledge of retail sales and product recommendation techniques
- Previous experience in the Middle East hospitality market
- Certification in specialized modalities (Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal Massage)
