Receiving Supervisor - Rosewood Doha
Rosewood Doha, a premier luxury hotel in the heart of Qatar's capital, seeks an experienced Receiving Supervisor to oversee all incoming goods operations. This role is central to maintaining the exceptional standards of Relationship Hospitality that define the Rosewood brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily receiving operations including delivery verification, quality inspection, and documentation accuracy
- Manage receiving team schedules, training, and performance to ensure 24/7 coverage aligned with hotel occupancy
- Coordinate with procurement, culinary, housekeeping, and engineering departments to prioritize urgent deliveries
- Enforce strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, and luxury brand standards for all perishable and non-perishable goods
- Maintain receiving area cleanliness, organization, and security protocols at all times
- Resolve vendor discrepancies, damaged goods claims, and invoice matching issues promptly
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize storage utilization
- Generate daily receiving reports and variance analyses for management review
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in receiving/logistics within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort environment
- Proven expertise in procurement systems (e.g., Micros, Opera, BirchStreet) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000) and customs clearance procedures in Qatar
- Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams in a high-pressure, guest-centric operation
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a distinct advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

Work Environment
Based at Rosewood Doha's state-of-the-art receiving dock and storage facilities. Shift-based schedule including weekends and holidays. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25kg, and operating material handling equipment. Direct reporting to Director of Procurement / Materials Manager.
