What You'll Own

• Design and implement high-performance data scraping workflows for specialized, hybrid AI + human systems.
• Develop and maintain resilient extraction pipelines that handle dynamic content, anti-scraping measures, and large-scale data volumes.
• Optimize scraping processes for speed, reliability, and data quality, ensuring minimal downtime and error correction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scraping requirements and integrate extracted data into downstream systems.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and establish best practices for the scraping infrastructure.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of professional Python engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on data scraping or web crawling.
• Deep expertise in libraries such as Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
• Proven ability to handle JavaScript-rendered content, session management, captchas, and IP rotation.
• Strong knowledge of data processing and storage (e.g., Pandas, SQL, NoSQL, cloud-based storage).
• Experience with distributed systems, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and orchestration of scraping tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a mindset of continuous improvement.
