About the Role

Andaz Doha is seeking a charismatic and service-oriented Andaz Host (Guest Service Officer - Front Office) to join our luxury hotel team in Qatar. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will deliver exceptional hospitality experiences that reflect the brand's commitment to Moments of More. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment and are passionate about creating personalized guest journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in, and check-out guests with warmth and efficiency, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining the highest service standards.
• Provide concierge-level recommendations for dining, attractions, and local experiences in Doha.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing procedures using the hotel's property management system.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
• Upsell room upgrades, amenities, and hotel services to enhance guest stays.
• Assist with VIP and loyalty program guest coordination.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel front office or guest service role, preferably in a luxury property.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Multilingual abilities (Arabic, English, and other languages).
• Experience with guest relations and concierge services in a luxury hotel setting.
• Familiarity with Doha's local attractions and cultural nuances.
