Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Obstetrician Gynecologist to join our esteemed medical team in Al Kuwait. This position plays a vital part in providing high-quality women's healthcare services including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, gynecological surgery, and comprehensive reproductive health services. The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based medical care while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care including antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management
- Perform gynecological examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures
- Offer family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and fertility evaluation
- Diagnose and treat reproductive system disorders, infections, and hormonal imbalances
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities
- Provide emergency obstetric and gynecological care as required
- Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to clinical education programs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in Kuwait (or eligibility for licensure)
- Minimum 3-5 years post-residency clinical experience preferred
- Proven expertise in high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgery
- Current BLS/ACLS certification and NRP certification
- Strong command of English; Arabic language proficiency advantageous
- Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
