Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Doctor to join our agricultural team at a farm located in Abu Samra, Al Ain. This role is ideal for an Arabic-speaking veterinarian with experience in farm animal health and livestock care. You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and implementing preventive health programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care for farm animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency treatments.
• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in livestock, poultry, and other farm animals.
• Develop and oversee health management plans to prevent outbreaks and maintain optimal herd health.
• Perform surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring sterile conditions and proper post-operative care.
• Advise farm management on nutrition, breeding, and biosecurity measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report on animal health trends.
• Collaborate with farm staff to ensure humane handling and animal welfare standards are met.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the UAE.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in farm animal practice.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory for effective communication with farm workers.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in large animal medicine.
• Ability to work independently in a remote farm setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to animal welfare and ethical veterinary practices.
