Senior DevOps Engineer - Rabat, Morocco

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rabat. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation solutions for enterprise clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Implement container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and security across development, staging, and production environments
- Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps practices and enable continuous delivery
- Define and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of automation and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of professional DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering experience
- Proven expertise with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python)
- Deep hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Experience with configuration management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Skills
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Programming skills in Go, Java, or Node.js
- Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with security scanning and compliance tools (Aqua, Twistlock, SonarQube)
