About the Role

ALTEN Maroc, a subsidiary of the global leader in engineering and technology consulting, is seeking a Planning Manager to join its team in Casablanca. Established in 2008, ALTEN Maroc operates across Fez, Rabat, Tetouan, and Casablanca with over 2,200 collaborators. As a Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving project planning and control for high-impact engineering engagements across diverse industries.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones using industry-standard tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Monitor project progress against baselines, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering leads, and stakeholders to align planning activities with project objectives.
• Perform risk analysis and schedule risk assessments; develop mitigation strategies for critical path activities.
• Prepare and present regular planning reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with ALTEN planning methodologies, quality standards, and client contractual requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior planning engineers, fostering best practices in schedule management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planning Engineer in engineering consulting or industrial projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex schedule data and drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in multicultural environments.
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills

• PMP or Prince2 certification.
• Experience in multinational consulting firms or large-scale EPC projects.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile planning frameworks and hybrid project methodologies.
• Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
