Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage audit services for business retailers and facilitate business tax relaxation. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, resolving violations, and optimizing financial reporting for clients in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax audit, financial compliance, and government liaison.

Core Responsibilities

• Violation Removal with MOICT: Handle the process of removing violations registered with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MOICT), ensuring all discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
• Violation Removal from Sijlat: Manage the removal of violations from Sijlat (commercial records), restoring clean standing for businesses.
• Financial Reporting to MOICT: Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to MOICT in compliance with local regulations, ensuring timely and error-free submissions.
• Tax Relaxation Advisory: Provide expert guidance on business tax relaxation strategies, helping retailers minimize tax liabilities while adhering to legal frameworks.
• Internal Audit Support: Conduct internal audits to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in audit, tax compliance, or financial consulting, particularly with retail businesses.
• In-depth knowledge of MOICT and Sijlat procedures in Bahrain.
• Strong understanding of tax relaxation laws and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with government authorities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in accounting or auditing (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Established network within Bahraini regulatory bodies.
