Role Summary
Alfardan Automobiles Qatar seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead technology strategy and operations within the automotive retail sector. This role directs IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategy supporting automotive sales, service, and parts operations
- Manage IT infrastructure: networks, servers, cloud services, and endpoint devices across multiple sites
- Oversee ERP/DMS systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds, or similar automotive dealer management systems)
- Lead cybersecurity program: risk assessment, compliance, incident response, and data protection
- Drive digital transformation projects: CRM integration, business intelligence, process automation
- Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and service level agreements
- Supervise IT support team; ensure high availability of critical business systems
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and deliver solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years progressive IT experience, with 3+ years in management role
- Proven experience in automotive industry or retail/dealership environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or similar frameworks
- Experience with ERP/DMS platforms used in automotive retail
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM advantageous
