Role Overview

Join DRÄXLMAIER, a global automotive supplier, as a Production Supervisor in Siliana, Tunisia. This full-time position places you at the heart of manufacturing operations where you will lead shift teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure production targets meet stringent automotive quality standards. The role demands hands-on leadership in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, focusing on lean principles, process optimization, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities across assigned lines to achieve output, quality, and safety goals.
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and standardized work.
• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and lead root-cause analysis for process improvement.
• Coach and develop operators and team leads, fostering a culture of accountability and skill growth.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality management system and health & safety regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
• Prepare and present shift performance reports, KPI dashboards, and improvement project updates.

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Shift Leader in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, work instructions, and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, VDA standards, and PPAP processes.
• Ability to conduct time studies, line balancing, and OEE analysis.
