COLCOM is seeking two Postdoctoral Fellows in Machine Learning to join its research team in Morocco. This is a one-year renewable contract with an expected start date of February 1, 2026, targeting candidates with 0 to 4 years of postdoctoral experience who hold a doctoral degree.

Role Overview

As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will conduct advanced research in machine learning, contribute to high-impact publications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on cutting-edge AI projects. This position offers a strong environment for professional growth and scientific innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement novel machine learning algorithms and models
• Conduct independent and collaborative research in core and applied AI areas
• Publish findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and conferences
• Analyze large-scale datasets and extract actionable insights
• Collaborate with team members on interdisciplinary research initiatives
• Present research outcomes at national and international venues
• Stay current with emerging trends in artificial intelligence and data science

Qualifications

Education: Doctoral degree (PhD) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related field.

Experience: 0 to 4 years of postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
• Solid foundation in statistical modeling, deep learning, and optimization
• Proven track record of academic publications in relevant venues
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
• Familiarity with high-performance computing and cloud platforms
• Prior involvement in funded research projects
• Proficiency in French or Arabic is an asset
