Junior Accountant – Entry-Level Accounting Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join a professional accounting firm based in Tunis. This position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are eager to build a career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
• Prepare and file statutory tax declarations and regulatory reports
• Support period-end and year-end closing procedures
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets (liasse fiscale)
• Reconcile accounts and process invoices accurately and on time
• Collaborate with senior accountants and audits teams as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience: Junior level — 0 to 1 year of professional experience
• Solid understanding of French accounting standards (PCG) and Tunisian tax regulations
• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication in French; English proficiency is a plus
