A prestigious British International School in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Food & Design Technology Teacher to join its faculty starting August 2026. This is a high-impact role for a specialist who can deliver rigorous, hands-on instruction across both Food Technology and Design Technology disciplines within a British curriculum framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology and Design Technology aligned with the British National Curriculum
• Manage workshop and kitchen facilities, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards
• Assess student progress through practical projects, coursework, and formal examinations
• Integrate modern design software and culinary techniques into the curriculum
• Collaborate with department heads to continuously improve teaching resources and student outcomes

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Food Science, Design Technology, or a closely related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching Food & Design Technology at the secondary level in a British curriculum school
• Strong classroom management skills and a track record of raising student achievement
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire both reluctant and high-achieving learners
