About the Role

Join the team at Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail as a Room Service Waiter/Waitress and deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests in one of Qatar's most prestigious luxury hotels. This hospitality position is based in Lusail, Qatar, within the Food and Beverage department.

Role Overview

As a Room Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing outstanding in-room dining service to hotel guests. You will ensure every interaction reflects the luxury hospitality standards of the Waldorf Astoria brand, creating memorable experiences that brighten each guest's stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver room service orders promptly and professionally to guest rooms
• Take guest orders accurately via phone, app, or in-person requests
• Set up food and beverage trays and carts to luxury hotel standards
• Ensure correct presentation and quality of all F&B items before delivery
• Provide personalized guest service and respond to special requests with care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service stations and equipment
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery
• Process billing and payments for room service orders accurately
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Uphold the Waldorf Astoria brand standards in every guest interaction

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Experience in room service or food and beverage service, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
• Familiarity with POS systems and order management tools
• Understanding of fine dining presentation and table setup
• Basic knowledge of beverage service, including wine and cocktail service

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Team player with a guest-first mindset
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
