About the Role | عن الوظيفة
As a General Accountant (محاسب قانوني / محاسب مالي), you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting activities including journal entries (القيود اليومية), account reconciliations (مطابقات الحسابات), financial reporting (التقارير المالية), and inventory control (إدارة المخزون). You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records in compliance with best practices. Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector or restaurant accounting is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities | المهام والمسؤوليات
- Prepare, record, and review daily journal entries (القيود اليومية) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform customer account reconciliations (مطابقات حسابات العملاء) and follow up on payment tracking and collections.
- Manage and monitor supplier and vendor accounts (حسابات الموردين) and perform periodic balance reconciliations.
- Oversee inventory and warehouse management (إدارة المخزون والمستودعات), conduct physical stock counts, and reconcile results with accounting records.
- Prepare periodic financial reports (التقارير المالية الدورية) and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
- Operate and navigate ERP and accounting software systems efficiently.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.

- Minimum 3 years of practical experience (خبرة 3 سنوات) in accounting or a related finance role.
- Strong hands-on experience in journal entry preparation and ledger management.
- Proven expertise in account reconciliation (مطابقة الحسابات) for both customers and suppliers.
- Solid background in inventory management and warehouse reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
- Practical experience using accounting systems and ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Preferred: Previous experience in the Restaurant, Food & Beverage (F&B) industry (قطا المطام والأغذية والمشروبات).
