Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specialist, Tenders to join our team in Casablanca. This role is critical to managing the end-to-end tender process for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and maximizing bid success rates. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tender management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete tender lifecycle from identification and qualification to submission and post-submission follow-up.
- Monitor and analyze public and private tender portals, government procurement platforms, and hospital group purchasing organizations for relevant opportunities.
- Prepare, review, and compile comprehensive tender documentation including technical files, commercial offers, regulatory dossiers, and pricing models.
- Ensure strict adherence to tender requirements, submission deadlines, and local regulatory guidelines (Morocco Ministry of Health, AFMPS, etc.).
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to gather accurate data and align bid strategies.
- Develop and maintain a centralized tender database and tracking system for all active, submitted, and awarded tenders.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market intelligence to inform pricing and positioning strategies.
- Support contract negotiation and finalization processes for awarded tenders.
- Provide regular reporting on tender pipeline, win rates, revenue contribution, and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Continuously improve tender processes, templates, and checklists to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tender management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, or healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Moroccan public procurement laws (Marchés Publics) and international tendering procedures.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and winning pharmaceutical tenders.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, product registration, and pricing regulations in Morocco.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
