Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Shift Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient supply chain execution in Casablanca, Morocco. This position requires a hands-on professional who can manage a team of warehouse associates, coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, and maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in logistics management, inventory control, and team leadership within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate shift activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, labor productivity, and inventory integrity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff; conduct daily briefings and performance feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize flow.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for inventory management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations or distribution center environments.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Manhattan, or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with transportation management, freight forwarding, and customs documentation (Morocco-specific regulations a plus).
• Certification in OSHA, Forklift Operation, or Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team building abilities with a focus on coaching and development.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Effective communication in French and Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
• High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
