Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Instruction: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the American Common Core and ACA's rigorous academic standards. Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
• Differentiate Learning: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including English language learners, gifted learners, and those with special educational needs, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
• Assess and Monitor Progress: Use a variety of formative and summative assessments to track student achievement, provide timely feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with grade-level teams, subject specialists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum. Participate in professional learning communities and school-wide initiatives.
• Engage Parents and Community: Maintain open communication with families through regular updates, conferences, and school events. Build strong partnerships that support student success.
• Contribute to School Life: Lead or co-lead extracurricular activities, clubs, or sports teams. Support school-wide events, assemblies, and cultural celebrations that enrich the student experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited university. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Valid Teaching License or certification from a recognized authority (e.g., state teaching credential, PGCE, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a school setting (experience with American curriculum is highly valued).
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are a plus but not required.
• Proven ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural diversity.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with technology integration (e.g., Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards, educational apps).
• Training in differentiated instruction and student-centered learning.
• Familiarity with project-based learning and inquiry-based teaching.
• Experience teaching in a multilingual or international school environment.
• Specialization in STEM, Literacy, Early Childhood Education, ESL, or Special Education.
• Active participation in professional development and willingness to pursue ongoing learning.
