Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Casablanca, Morocco. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all operational, safety, and service standards meet the rigorous requirements of a leading low-cost carrier operating across more than 150 global destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in compliance with aviation regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, performance data, and incident reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and customer service to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are effectively implemented and tracked to closure.
- Support regulatory audits and ensure compliance with GCAA, EASA, and other relevant aviation authority requirements.
- Investigate non-conformances and root cause analysis, recommending systemic solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, aviation safety standards, and quality management systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks including GCAA, EASA, and ICAO standards.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in auditing techniques including internal and external audit management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong report-writing and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic and/or French is a strong asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Quality Assurance or Auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE).
- Experience in low-cost carrier (LCC) operations.
- Familiarity with safety management systems (SMS) and enterprise risk management frameworks.
