About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic GOV Acquisitions Regional Sales Executive to drive business growth and expand our government sector portfolio across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the government and public sector vertical
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve acquisition targets and revenue goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including solutions engineering, legal, and delivery to craft tailored proposals
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities in the government sector
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to senior government officials
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and deal closure
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline forecasts, and client interactions using CRM tools
- Represent Vodafone at industry events, conferences, and networking forums relevant to government acquisitions
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to senior management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the government or public sector domain
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tenders, and acquisition frameworks
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable sales strategies
Preferred Experience
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure sales to government entities
- Familiarity with digital transformation, IoT, cloud connectivity, and enterprise solutions
- Established network of contacts within government ministries, agencies, or public institutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
