About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to oversee production assembly operations in Morocco. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing, production line management, and team supervision. The Assembly Supervisor will ensure that all assembly processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily assembly line operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of assembly workers to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance departments to resolve production issues.
- Prepare production reports, track KPIs, and communicate performance metrics to management.
- Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and ensure optimal workforce utilization.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, production workflows, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation.
- Effective communication skills in a multicultural work environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO quality management systems.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office tools.
- Background in automotive, electronics, or industrial assembly is a strong advantage.
