About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and expand our Patient Support Program across pharmaceutical, healthcare, and institutional clients in Egypt. This role is central to building strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and enhancing patient access to critical healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep account and stakeholder understanding across pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and institutional clients, including their business objectives, engagement needs, and patient support requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Design and implement strategic business development plans to expand the Patient Support Program's reach and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, marketing, and operations to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities within the Egyptian healthcare landscape.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with organizational goals and client needs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, healthcare events, and professional networking forums.
- Ensure all business development activities comply with local regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of the Egyptian healthcare market, pharmaceutical landscape, and patient support ecosystems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain C-level and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Patient Support Programs (PSPs) or market access initiatives.
- Knowledge of Egyptian pharmaceutical regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Existing network within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors in Egypt.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
